The Barn at Springbrook Farm

At The Barn we serve children of varying abilities. We focus on recognizing their strengths and maximizing their potential.   Our programs help children set and achieve goals that complement their learning at school, in outside therapies and in their home life by providing animal-assisted activities to establish new, nurturing and fun experiences for the children.

The CHOP Healthy Weight Program

The Healthy Weight Program advances the prevention and treatment of childhood obesity by integrating excellence in clinical care, research, quality education and community advocacy.

The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia gathered 48 internal experts and advisors, from disciplines and divisions Hospital-wide, to develop a multidisciplinary, comprehensive and innovative program targeting pediatric obesity. The Healthy Weight Initiative launched in August 2005, renamed the Healthy Weight Program (HWP) in 2006.

PSPCA

The PSPCA’s mission is to protect animals, prevent cruelty and to improve the health and quality of life throughout Pennsylvania. We do this through our four physical locations – North Philadelphia, Danville, Fishtown and Lancaster, as well as through our Humane Law Enforcement Department which covers 23 counties throughout the state. The PSPCA has boots on the ground 365 days a year throughout Pennsylvania. When you support the PSPCA, your donation directly goes toward helping animals suffering from cruelty and neglect in your own community.

Community Partnership School

Community Partnership School was founded in 2006 by a partnership between Germantown Academy and Project H.O.M.E. to attend to the educational needs of children from an underserved North Central Philadelphia neighborhood characterized by high rates of poverty and low rates of graduation.

Community Partnership School is an independently operating PAIS accredited school that provides a well-rounded, affordable education, while fostering a supportive network among students, school, family and community. This partnership prepares our graduates to flourish in some of the highest performing middle schools and high schools in the region — academically, socially and emotionally.
